Applying to Kendall

We offer 6 advanced residency positions with 6 internship positions at Kendall (5 transitional year positions and 1 preliminary surgery positions). Applications are accepted through ERAS. Interview invitations are sent on a rolling basis starting in October. We typically receive about 1000 applications and extend 90-100 interview invitations each year.

If you are an International Medical Graduate, you will need to provide the following information/documentation to be considered for admission.

Valid ECFMG certification at the time of application

Medical school graduation within the last 5 years

Doctor of Medicine diploma without reservations

Clinical experience in the U.S. (hands-on experience preferred)

Interview Process
​​
Interviews are granted on an invitation only basis. All Candidates will interview with the Program Director and one other member of the department.
​
We have both in-person and virtual interview options. Interviews are held from October through January. The interview day typically runs from 8:30am – 2:30pm. The night before the interview day there is a pre-interview happy hour with some of our residents from 6:30-8:30 pm.
